Lets cut to the chase, here is the cold hard facTs on 2018 so far. Swimming: 9.5 Miles Biking: 365 Miles Running: 379 miles Not real sure how that stacks up againSt last year but i feel better and stronger. 3 CONSECUTIVE sub 4 hour marathons, the bike is repairEd and finally feeling fast thanks to some sweet new shoes from Kia anD the running. Running is my favoriTe! I had planned a long tempo run for the weekend. Since Kia was working the day shift both days i had the mornings to train. SAturday morning was a rainy day so i elected to go back on the treadmill. Unlike most, really dont mind the dreadmill so the 18 mile run WASN'T bad at all. AVERAGED just about 8 minuTe miles whiCh is QUICKER than marathon pace anD further than the 13.1 i’ll be rUnning at Madison. Regardless, felt great anD really no pain afterwards. I woKe up feeling well but tireD as always. Since the Y has closed it’s Pool for maintenance, i elected to go swim with Lakes Area Rec at Discovery pool. Im the worst swimmer ever but got in a solid 2600 yard swim this morning. For about the first time ever, not too scared fOr the swim even not SWIMMING in a wet suit this year Yet! This week is designed for some rest, sleep and nutrition. Weather permitting, looking for one last bike ride after Stealth got cleaned up today and and libricated for Race day! hoping to shave some solid minutes off last years tIme for sure. As always, looking to crush it for #Triberacing #triberules #wattieinkhitsquad #baseperformance
